Numeric keypad typing test
Ten-key speed is a separate skill from typing prose, and it is what most data-entry work actually measures. This test uses the figures you meet in real work: decimals, currency amounts and thousands separators, rather than bare digit strings.

Getting faster on the keypad
- Anchor on 5. It carries a tactile bump for exactly this reason, and finding it by feel is what lets you stop looking down.
- Index on 4, middle on 5, ring on 6. The thumb takes zero, and the little finger handles Enter and the operators.
- Practise the decimal point deliberately. It is where most people lose accuracy, and a misplaced decimal is the most expensive mistake in data entry.
