Acceptance
By using TypingRat you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. You must provide an accurate email address so we can send you security notifications. One person may not maintain multiple accounts for the purpose of manipulating leaderboards.
Acceptable use
You may not attempt to submit typing results that you did not personally produce by typing. This includes automated input, scripted submissions, and modification of the test client. Results that fail our validation checks are excluded from leaderboards, and accounts that repeatedly submit manipulated results may be suspended.
You may not attempt to disrupt the service, access other users' data, or circumvent access controls on paid features.
Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you selected until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the customer portal; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Lifetime access is a one-time purchase granting the Pro features available on TypingRat for as long as TypingRat operates. It is not a subscription and does not renew. It does not entitle you to separate products we may release in future, and it does not constitute a guarantee that the service will operate indefinitely.
Refunds are handled according to the refund policy in force at the time of purchase and applicable consumer law.
Content
Exercise content provided by TypingRat remains ours. Custom exercises you create remain yours; you grant us only the permission needed to store and serve them back to you.
Availability
TypingRat is provided as is. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may modify or discontinue features.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified, and the effective date shown on this page will be updated.
