What Lifetime means
Lifetime is a single payment for permanent access to TypingRat Pro features. It is not a subscription, it does not renew, and there is nothing further to cancel.
It covers the Pro features on TypingRat for as long as TypingRat operates, including Pro features added later. It does not entitle you to separate products we might release in future, and it is not a guarantee that the service will run indefinitely.
If you have held a Pro subscription and then buy Lifetime, cancelling that subscription has no effect on your Lifetime access.
Common questions
- Is the free plan actually usable?
- Yes. Every core typing test, the daily challenge, the leaderboards and a sample of each practice mode are free. Free accounts see ads and a limited history window.
- Can I cancel a subscription at any time?
- Yes, from the billing portal. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- What happens to my results if I downgrade?
- Nothing is deleted. Older results stop being shown while you are on the free plan, and they reappear if you upgrade again.
- How is payment handled?
- Entirely by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe systems and never reach ours.
